Leadership and Structure

The AVBF Consortium consists the alliance of partners including associations and chambers. The Consortium is managed by a Management Board and AVBF Secretariat to perform a coordination role for all AVBF day-to-day activities to ensure smooth function of the AVBF.

The Secretariat's primary duties and roles are:

1. Organise the bi-annual forums and assist the heads of working groups and the co-chairmen of the management board;
2. Support the Working Groups' efforts to facilitate their discussions of matters of interest and coordinate with government departments to set up the Working Groups' biannual forums, high-level meetings, and other activities;
3. Organise information among the Working Groups and consolidate recommendations/strategies that might be used to solve the issues;
4. Follow up with government representatives regarding a range of topics brought up by AVBF;
5. Monitor developments, create progress summaries on AVBF-raised issues, and extensively inform stakeholders.
